Producer - Sports Illustrated Weekly

Jordan produced podcast segments and stories for Sports Illustrated’s narrative storytelling program, Sports Illustrated Weekly. Thrice weekly, Jordan and the team put together programs on a variety of sports, from Soccer to F1, and Basketball to competitive Cheese Rolling!


Contributor -The Culture Division

Since May 2022, Jordan has been writing personal football essays for The Culture Division, including a piece about managing the grief she felt after the death of her mother through supporting her Premier League soccer club, Liverpool F.C. and a piece on the booming summer for the women’s game in 2022.

Online Editor & Contributor - Pod Bible Magazine (UK)

From February through October of 2020, Jordan served as online editor for Pod Bible Magazine’s blog, curating content, editing blog posts, and working with podcasters to find unique ways to present their content to our audiences. She continues to write for the magazine and website as a freelancer.

From the spring of 2017 to the fall of 2021, Jordan was leaning into her role as Content & Creative Producer for a social media agency in Washington, D.C. In this role, she produced social-first, full-scale audio and video projects for recognizable, well-respected brands.

Jordan’s piece of epistolary fiction, “Future Lover”, was published in Lilac Magazine’s second issue “First Love”.


ASTROBIOLOGY: The Story of the Search for Life in the Universe comic book

After being hired by a senior program scientist from NASA, Jordan worked alongside artist Aaron L. Gronstal to organize his research and create a structure and script for the sixth comic in a series explaining Astrobiology to older school children.


Contributing Writer - Paste Magazine

In 2017, Jordan was a regular contributor to Paste Magazine’s pro-wrestling section. Occasionally collaborating with her editors on top ten lists, most of her work focused on critical analysis of the art form of professional wrestling, and sharing her experience as a fan with those who were coming to wrestling anew.


BRAINBUSTER: A wrestling zine about mental health No. 2

Jordan’s piece “Not Quite Home” on wrestler Mark Andrews’ entrance music was included in the second BRAINBUSTER zine, 100% of the proceeds of which went to the Trans Lifeline charity organization.


Just Try And Remember blog

During Jordan’s time as a young caregiver to a parent with early onset Alzheimer’s Disease, she kept a blog of her mother’s progression as well as tricks and tips her family used to make life easier for her and combat issues that arose.


Steroids and Other Performance-Enhancing Drugs

Jordan edited as well as re-wrote an outdated educational book on Steroids. This book was targeted to a middle and high school aged audience and required a great deal of research.
